The action takes place in two drawing-rooms in an early Victorian house in Chipping Cleghorn which have been made into one room. We join the story on Friday the 13th. As for the period - the script defines it as "Agatha Christie time".

I am grateful to Joy Wren for donating a copy of the programme for this play. It was, until recently, one of the few gaps in the Fairlight Players archive.

This has enabled us to identify the whole cast, several of whom had already been named either by long-standing members, or from the information given in the review (below) which appeared in the local newspaper.
